Mammoth Mountain Ski Area

An average snowfall of 400 inches allows for riding and exploring natural hits, gullies, heart-pumping steep chutes, wide-open bowls, tree riding and wide-open cruisers. Snowboarding is allowed on 100% of the mountain. Terrain parks have long been the pedigree for which Mammoth is known. There are nine parks, each sized to accommodate every step you take towards snowboarding superstardom. Add an Olympic-size 22-foot pipe, perfectly-shaped 18-foot pipe, and smaller learning ones, and you`ve got a recipe for a fast track to the top. The Unbound Terrain Parks at Mammoth Mountain is seven parks, with three halfpipes in the mix and is spread across 90 acres of terrain on Mammoth Mountain. There is Disco Park, Wonderland Park, X-Course, Forest Trail Park, Jibs Galore, South Park and Main park. Mammoth Mountain is the only resort in North America to offer three different-sized halfpipes: Mini Pipe, Super Pipe, Super Duper Pipe, (Olympic-size). Top-of-the-line pipe cutting snowcats, highly trained staff, consistent snow, sunny days and a long spring are reasons why the world`s best pipe riders return to train year after year at Mammoth Mountain.
